Gift set

Here’s a set I recently made a friend who turned 30. She is a ‘pink’ girl, so I’m hoping she enjoyed her pressie.
Not only did I make a post it note pad holder, and covered a 2 year monthly calendar in matching colours/paper, I also used the same colour scheme to gift wrap the pressie. The card is also pink themed, but slightly different pink!
I’ve even given you a sneak peek on the card. Does anyone know what it is? A new product we’ll be seeing a bit of after 1 April!!
Let me know if you like it.

3 x 3 box – Christmas gift box

Well I’ve been flat out during the last week! Little DS turned 4 yesterday and we had his party over the weekend. This is a pic of him yesterday at ‘kinder’ with the ‘birthday hat’ on.
I’ve got a number of things I want to share with you.
This first one, I stumbled across at Jackie Thomas’ website. She inspired me to make my own!! These are so cute. I’m thinking of making some for pressies this year. I’ve put together my own tutorial, with step by step photos. It only takes 1 piece of 12 x 12 cardstock (plus decorations!)

Christmas card/scrap kit by mail – “I wish”

Turn this ….
into this…..
Another idea for Christmas cards (and scrapbook pages), is to use a ’simply scrappin’ kit’ from Stampin’ Up!. Here I have used the Christmas kit “I wish”. Not only have I made cards and tags, I’ve also made a gift box and ribbon, gift bag as well as a ‘post it note holder’. If you purchase the kit, with the additional extras, I will also provide the pdfs of all 3D patterns!
I’ve made 9 christmas cards, 2 tags, and 4 3D items, and I have still got over half the kit left!!!
Scrappin’ kit “I wish” $36.95
Optional extras ($25) to add to the “I wish” scrappin kit:
- glue pen
- tub dazzlin diamonds
- sheet of dimensionals
- 1/4 pack of silver or gold brads (approx 50)
- 3 metres of ribbon (1m choc chip & old olive 1/4″, 1m red 5/8″)
Simply click on the paypal option below that suits. There is a $10 postage charge, which will help me cover the postage to me, then for me to send to you, anywhere in Australia.

I didn’t come up with this idea. It’s been around for a while. I have googled and searched on the net for a tutorial or instructions, without luck. I finally worked it out.. so I thought I’d share it with you!
I’ve made some free instructions..click here if you would like to download them (warning 4 meg download).
'Tis the Season – Gifts and FREE blog candy

Speaking of presents and gifts, I have finally finished all of my ‘little gifts’ for DS’s class, the teachers, and my friends! Whew! That’s 35 little packages, and about 12 bigger packages! I’ll post some pics below, let me know if you like them! I used the 2, 5 7, 10 box template with a flap for the bigger ones, and the 2, 5, 7 box template for the smaller ones. The templates are off a Demo resource website, so I don’t think I can post them here. Happy to show you in person though!
Speaking of gifts… I have only received TWO comments on my blog! I know there are at least 30-40 visitors a day (my stats tell me), so you can’t all be demonstrators! Leave me a comment within the next 24 hours and go into the draw for $20 FREE PRODUCT (your choice!!), and a special something made with SU products.

Yet another use for a 'cropodile': Ribbon storage.
I saw something very similar at Paperific, and decided to try and make one myself! I finally came across a pink see through plastic, zipped ‘bag’ at the Reject shop. It’s a little messy.. but a great way of storing ribbons!! I simply used the cropodile to cut holes in the plastic, and then inserted some of our jumbo eyelets (backwards, so that the ribbon can’t hook and tear), and voila!!
Diary decoration..
Whilst I was away, I picked up a cheap diary for 2009 from the Reject Shop for $3.
I decided I should ‘decorate’ it.. so I did. I’ve used choc chip paper, old oive paper, white rub ons, and a couple of stamps out of new sets available from the Summer Mini. I used the double stitched choc ribbon (also from the Summer Mini) as a bookmark. I took it to work last week, and I have already received an order from one of the girls at work! Hope you like it.
I'm backkkkkkkkkkk
Where have I been? DH had a conference up in Noosa.. and well.. I had to go too, particularly when Nanna offered to take care of both of the boys!
It’s pretty sad when most of my luggage was stampin’ up! stuff.. and I spent nearly the whole time DH was at the conference, stamping and creating! I’ll try and feature at least one a day for the next week or so. There’s a variety of Christmas and lots of other types of themes, including a scrapbooking page! I think I’m starting to enjoy scrapbooking!
This door hanger is one of those cheap wood hangers picked up from the $2 shop, which I have covered with some new DSP which is coming out in December. I’ve added some ribbon (pure pomegrante double stitched), a little bit of tempting turquoise, and a half pearl from the pretties kit!
