Cute baby cards
I have often looked at other people’s take on these baby ‘onesie’ cards, and as a friend of my recently became a grandmother, I thought I’d go creating for her. Thanks to Lauren M for the tutorial (have a look at her site, she has some GREAT tutorials). I found this one slightly difficult to follow, I think if you start with a card 10″ x 4 1/4″, it should work. I also guessed the under arms and the angle.. all cut by hand with my craft rubber SU scissors! I couldn’t get my 1 3/8″ circle punch to get through 2 layers, so the bottoms were all cut separately, and then I traced around the inside of the punch and cut the neck by hand. (Happy to hear an easier way of doing this!!) I also used the word window punch for the sleeves, with the curves cut off.. this gave me the exact punch outs to use.
Hope you like it – the colour in this card is pixie pink and very vanilla, with the sentiment from ‘fast and fun notes’.
