The wings are from “Pick a Petal” stamp set (RRP $52.95) stamped in real red ink onto whisper white card stock, cut each one out, then placed onto a couple of circles (1 ” I think) punched out of black card stock, with dimensionals to pop them up. Some of the wings had crystal effects, and others have had dazzlin diamonds applied. I then used the white gel pen to colour the eyes, and black journalling pen to draw in the antennae and the flying lines.. I use them to pop onto other cards for funky kids birthday cards. I’m sure there’s heaps of other things you could do with them too! Hope you like them!Posts Tagged ‘birthday’
ESAD Blog Hop!
Good Morning everyone!
I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better go grab yourself a cuppa as you’ll be hopping for a while!
So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.
Hope you enjoy my blog entries! You’ll see I love our new bird punch, as well as the new incolour – rich razzleberry! Here are some descriptions of the projects:
1 & 1 a. Fold up photo book/album (it’s the larger version). Let me know if you would like the instructions and I’ll email them through when I finalise the tutorial. Rich Razzleberry is featured with the new designer paper cottage garden (I LOVE this paper). I have made the letters by using an alphabet die through the big shot!! Great for scrapbooking. Bird punch, and finished with rich razzleberry ribbon.

2. Get well wishes is from the new teeny tiny sentiments stamp set, it’s soooo versatile. I think I can use it instead of nearly all of my sentment stamps. The bird is our bird punch, with the wing being punched out of designer cottage paper, and the branch out of old olive. The background has been run through the big shot with the perfect polka dots embossing folder. Rich razzleberry ribbon, and the label behind is also a die from a set called ‘lots of tags’.
3. This is a card focused directly on our new in colour, rich razzlebe rry. It teams up beautifully with old olive and the matching designer paper. I have used the ‘happy birthday’ on the side from teeny tiny sentiments, and layered up the card, using a non-SU castle die. I also used an alphabet diet set for the name ‘Arley’. Dazzlin’ diamonds, stampin dimensionals and the 2way glue pen have also been used.

4. This card has been made using melon mambo (another new in colour), and the new stamp set (and matching roller) called Vintage Vogue. Gorgeous set. I have played with the flowers by stamping them, then dry embossing them onto a soft piece of foam, to make the flowers 3 dimensional. Sentiment is also from the same set.

5. Another bird punch card! Simple, but elegant. I have layered the bird’s wing to give it additional effect. Colours are night of navy, bashful blue, and whisper white. Sentiment stamped in night of navy, it’s also out of the new teeny tiny sentiments set.

6. hmmm… another bird punch card!! Colours are melon mambo, old olive, close to cocoa. Melon mambo matching ribbon finishes off the card.

7. Pony party! That’s the name of the stamp set. In the background, is the ‘top note’ die which has been created, using the big shot machine. What a cute little girl’s set. It also comes with a party hat, unicorn horn.. and loads of other stuff!
Hope you enjoyed my tour! I think you’ll agree my favs are rich razzleberry and the XL bird punch!! Last chance for Sale-a-bration freebies!
Our Summer mini catalogue finishes on 31 March, as does the opportunity to select one free sale-a-bration stamp set for every $100 you spend on products.
The stamp set on the right is from one of the gorgeous sale-a-bration sets. I’ve teamed it up with ballet blue, whisper white, and night of navy. I’ve coloured the present using ballet blue water colour crayon. Happy birthday sentiment is from the same sale-a-bration set.
The gorgeous butterfly punch and matching stamp set may not be available again until September (assuming it makes it to the new Ideas Book and Catalogue). So if there is anything in the Summer mini, or you wish to place an order so you get a free sale-a-bration set, please contact me asap. I will be putting in my final order of the month at 7pm on 30 March.
Gee, I think I’ve got a blue theme happening!
This GORGEOUS bird is a punch from the new winter/autumn mini which goes on sale 1 April. It cuts the bird, the branch, and the bird’s wing, all in one swoop.
The ‘with sympathy’ is also from a fabulous new stamp set (which has most sentiments you could ever want in ONE stamp set) called teeny tiny sentiments. Not only can you buy it on our normal woodern mounts, you can also buy it in the new range of clear mount stamps coming out 1 April.
How excitement!!
My newsletter will go out soon, if you haven’t already signed up, click on the sign up button to the right, and add your details. If you would like a hard copy of the new Winter/Autumn mini sent out to you (free), simply email me at andrea.eppingstall@gmail.com and I’ll pop one in the mail to you shortly.
Crazy for Cupcakes
I haven’t been posting recently, but I have been playing!! Here’s a gorgeous card we made at a workshop last weekend. Everyone loved the dazzlin’ diamonds. We used SU water colouring pencils for the cakes, then blended the colour using blender pens. The sentiment is also from the same set. Colours are in colours baja breeze and pink pirouette, with the image stamped onto very vanilla.

Be in it, to win it!!
Ladybirds.. lady bugs.. beetles… great kids cards!
I saw these a while back, and decided to make a few. Aren’t they great?
The wings are from “Pick a Petal” stamp set (RRP $52.95) stamped in real red ink onto whisper white card stock, cut each one out, then placed onto a couple of circles (1 ” I think) punched out of black card stock, with dimensionals to pop them up. Some of the wings had crystal effects, and others have had dazzlin diamonds applied. Some cards using our fabulous satin ribbon!
This one is using the pure pomegrante ribbon. It’s one of our ‘in colours’. We have 4 colour families that usually continue from one year to the next. In Colours are a colour range which is released at the start of each SU year (approx March/April). This card features the blue bayou, pure pomegrante card (and ribbon), mounted on sahara sand. Stamp is from fast and fun notes.
This card I made for my mum and dad’s wedding anniversary.
I like it, it’s simple, yet classy. Cardstock is chocolate chip and close to cocoa. Satin ribbon is choc chip, and the stamp is out of the fast and fun notes, coloured using an aqua painter with earth elements crayons (I love colouring!!) Hope you like it!
Here’s a card I have recently used at workshops, and I still like it! I usually get sick of the same card if I use it more than twice.
