Sneak peek..

Apparently we will be getting the Big Shot in the next mini catalogue (due 1 April). Here’s a card made with the ‘build a bear’ dies. How cute! You make a bear, and then there are ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ accessories that you can dress them up with! Don’t ask me where I got it.. it’s a secret! Hope you like the sneak peek!! Can’t wait to get my hands all of it!!!! Watch this space!
Welcome to the ESAD-SU blog hop!! Razzle Dazzle Stamps / Designs Rubons / Circle Scissors
Welcome to the ESAD-SU blog hop featuring items from the new Summer Mini Catalogue which goes on sale 1 December. ESAD-SUis a very special group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators based in Australia/New Zealand, who support each other through a yahoo based group, as well as a live ‘ning’ chat and special challenges. If you’re an Australian (or NZ) demo, simply click on this link and you can be part of the fun! If you’re interested in becoming a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up!, just email me andrea.eppingstall@gmail.com or click on my Stampin’ Up! Website here.
Hopefully you’ve come from Amy Water’s blog, if not, you might want to turn around and visit hers first! My blog hop focuses on a number of the new exciting Summer Mini products (available from 1st December), including the Razzle Dazzle stamp set ($33.95), coodinating Design Rubons (2 sheets for $21.95), and the new Scissor Circle cutter ($54.95) and Glass Mat ($37.95). One of the many reasons to be a demonstrator and be part of our SU family, is that you get the opportunity to ‘pre-order’ some of the goodies, so we can play and share our creations before the products release date. Yep, this means you get to see what you can do with the product, instead of just looking at the samples in the mini catalogue (if you’d like one of these in your hands, and don’t have a demonstrator, please email me at andrea.eppingstall@gmail.com and I’ll mail you one). If you don’t have your own demonstrator, feel free to contact me to order or to ask any questions (within Australia).
Also, if you go back two posts here on my blog, or click on ‘Kits by Mail’ tag above, you can pick up this stamp and rubon set in my ‘Kits by Mail’ for 4 months at $50 a month (includes cardstock, embellishments, markers etc).

Here’s our challenge to you!!! If you manage to visit all THIRTY blogs included in this ‘blog hop’, and comment on EACH one, YOU will be entered into our blog hop candy draw (and there’s heaps of candy on offer!!!!) All you need to do is email Leonie at (leonie@stamp-a-latte.com) to advise you’ve commented on all 30 blogs, and Leonie will pop you in the draw! Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

Wedding / Engagement cards..

One of the guys from work asked if I could create a ’stylish’ wedding card’ for his friend’s wedding. He said they have a butterfly theme, so I thought I’d try and incorporate a butterfly. The ’swirl’ is from Baroque Motifs ($39.95), the butterfly is a stamp from the current mini catalogue. Colours are black and gold metallic. I have also used gold embossing powder. I love the raised effect that embossing gives.

The second card is very similiar. Here I’ve used the ‘cake’ out of ‘Fun and Fast Notes’ ($58.95). It is one of the many stamp sets that you receive if you join as a demonstrator. The ‘now and forever’ is out of “occasional greetings” ($60.95).

The third one is quite similar to the others. It’s using the baroque motifs, and butterfly stamps as described above, plus I have used a definition stamp from “Lifes Definitions” ($90.95). This looks great ebossed too!! The Life’s Definitions stamp set has lots of special words and their definition. Great for scrapbooking, and cardmaking alike! The black ribbon is from a special ribbon pack called “Ribbon Originals” ($24.95). The gold cord is a retired product which is no longer available.
Christmas Classics – Card kit by mail

Here’s another one I have been working on, using the same kit contents as the ’snow swirled’ kit above. I’m offering a Christmas Card Kit by mail, consisting of most of the things you see in the picture, plus a few more things! I estimate you can make over 50 cards with the kit. I have only included 20 envelopes, so you can buy more if you need to.
- 3 markers (suggest ruby red, old olive, and choc chip)
- glue pen
- tub dazzlin diamonds
- sheet of dimensional (approx 100)
- 1/4 pack of clear rhinestone brads (approx 20)
- 1/4 pack of silver or gold brads (approx 50)
- 10 pieces of A4 white or very vanilla cardstock
- 24 pieces of A4 coloured cardstock (suggest 6 ruby red, 6 old olive, 6 choc chip & 6 baja breeze)
- 3 sheets of Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper (12 pieces 6 x 6)
- 20 Envelopes (very vanilla or whisper white)
- 1 metre hemp twine
- 2 metres ribbon 1/4 inch (suggest 1 metre of choc chip and 1 metre old olive)
All of this, for just $65. If you wish to order ink pads instead of the markers, it will cost $83.
If you wish to add either of the stamp sets “Snow Swirled” or “Christmas Classics”, click this paypal button: $110 with marker option, or $125 for the ink pad option.
Here’s some samples I came up with, using the kit:

Here’s some examples I’ve made using “Snow Swirled”:

Thank you …

I made this today for a special person who is finishing up at work tomorrow.
It’s made with ’sweet always’ designer series paper, textured pink pirouette, choc chip, and choc chip ribbon. The ‘thank you’ sentiment is from the stamp set ‘upsy daisy’ (RRP $33.95).
Gonna miss ya Kimmy!
So.. the Christmas projects begin…

I love this stamp set! It’s called “Holiday Lineup” $38.95 RRP. It’s great to watercolour. I have coloured both of these images using markers directly onto our watercolour paper. I’ve used basic black ink, various markers, and real red and old olive cardstock.
Boys birthday cards

Not sure if you ever have had to come up with cards for boys over 8.. but I find it really difficult! This one is for a 9 yo friend of DS. I’ve used the incolours pacific point (blue) and the tangerine tango (orange), used the star/birthday stamp out of the “Starring You” stamp set (RRP $24.95 for 4 stamps) – punched using the circle 1 3/8 punch, and textured the orange using the distressing tool from the SU cutting kit ($33.95 including a portable cutter, scorer and 7 point distressing tool). The card is based on whisper white cardstock. The pacific point has been stamped with another ’star’ stamp from the set, to create a great background.
Birthday & Thank you cards

Hope you’re not getting sick of seeing my “Crazy for Cupcakes” birthday cards! I love this set. I love the combination of pink pirouette and baja breeze.

My mum rang me Saturday night and asked if I could make a number of thank you cards for mum to send from the family, after the passing of her mum, my grandma.
We were visiting her the following morning, so I had around 2 hours to design and make countless cards. I’ve used the stamp set “fresh cuts” which also includes this lovely ‘thank you’ stamp. I have used close to cocoa and very vanilla. I also stamped the envelopes with one of the stamps in the set.
